Useful Links for Parents/Carers

ParentsPortal - All school and class information, letters and newsletters are issued via our communication platform, ParentsPortal. Parents and carers should register as a matter of urgency to ensure you keep up to date with all school notices and information. Parents will book parents night appointments via ParentsPortal as well grant permissions, update emergency contact information and access the annual data check and medical information.

ParentPay - Woodside became a cashless school on 25th February 2019. This facility means parents/carers pay for school items such as school dinners, milk, activities and trips online. Parents should activate their ParentPay account using the codes issued to each child by the school. A few points to note :

  • We are very proud of our 100% of activated accounts at Woodside and ask that all new families register asap to maintain this record.
  • School meals - you do not need to ‘book’ any lunches, the children will do this each morning in class.
  • Milk – this needs to be pre-booked online before 9.30am after you have added credit to your child’s milk account, otherwise they will not get any milk. You can book this up to 2 weeks in advance. Please note however if your child is absent from school you will need to unbook it otherwise you will still be charged.
  • Check the balance of your child’s school meals account on a regular basis. When a pupil orders a lunch it is charged to your account whether or not it has any credit, so please keep an eye on it and top it up when necessary to avoid it going into debt. You can set up alerts advising of a low balance. We regularly monitor any accounts showing a debit balance.

Please find below some quick links to help you with using your account, as always if you have any questions, give us a call at the office.
