PARENT HELPERS NEEDED!
We are always in need of parental supportboth in and out of school. We cannot take pupils out on school trips without parental support. If you can help on a regular basis or even as and when you can, please get in touch to complete the necessary PVG forms to join our list of loyal supporters. Thank you so much!


Our Parent Councilare always on the look out for new parents and an extra pair of hands, so if you are able to offer any help or support, big or small, please get in touch by emailing them onwoodsideparentcouncil@hotmail.co.uk

MOVING HOUSE OR SCHOOL
If you move house you need to submit 2 recent proofs of your new address - utilitybill, council tax bill, bank statement, rent/mortgage details - before we can update your records. Please click on this link for full details about moving house or school.

PARENTSPORTAL
All school and class communication is issued via the ParentsPortal app. In order to receive all information, see report cards, grant permissions etcparents must sign up for this as a matter of urgency.Our office staff canhelp if you are having difficultycompletingthis, just get in touch.Pleaseclickhereto get started, thank you.

PARENTSPAY
This is our platform for making payment for school meals, milk, trips and school activities.
New families will beissued with ParentPay codes, please action immediately toallow you access.A link to ParentsPay can be found on your ParentsPortal app.

SCHOOL MEALS INFORMATION
Please rememberthat children in P6 P7 pay for lunches and we ask that you keep a credit balance on your ParentPay account at all times. Account balances are monitored and any debt is chased up regularly.All pupilsneed a credit balance to book any milk for lunchtimes. You may be eligible to apply for free meals by clicking here for the SLC link

PUPILS PERSONAL BELONGINGS
The volume of lost property is always an issue at Woodside! Parents/carers must write your child's name class on ALL clothing, lunch boxes, bottles etc.Please reiterate to your children the importance of being responsible for their belongings and to check lost property for their stuff. Lost property can be found at the stairwell doors at primary 1 with access from the playground. Unclaimed uniform will be added to our pre-loved stock, and other items disposed of, if not collected.

UNIFORMS
We have aselection of pre-loved uniforms used to change 'muddy' children andfor all our families free of charge. If your child/renrequire a top up of any of their school uniform, please pop into the office or give us a call and we'll do our best to help. We are regularly short of polo shirts and trousers insmaller sizes. If you can help pleasehand in any donations to the school office. Remember,donationsof other clothing can be placed in our clothing bank in the car park behind theSainsburys atPortland Place, this helps with our schools fundraising.

We love to be busy in Woodside. We like to feel that we are hardworking and achieving, caring and mindful of helping others, and we also reckon that being happy and having fun in school, supports our learning.

We are also delighted in Woodside to be well supported by our parents and carers, and our fab Parent Council always come up with some amazing ideas for fundraising,helping us to provide exciting experiences for our learners.

Finally, and most importantly, we are proud of the quality of relationships existing in Woodside.

School Lunch Menu 2025-2026

as of April 2026 school meals are 2.71 and milk to 30p
School lunches areordered in class by pupils every morning, milkshould be pre-booked online before 9.30am by parents.
Children can bringa packed lunch and areencouraged to bring a healthy lunch, snack and drink. Woodside isanut free zone and we have several children with severe allergies requiring Epi-pens -please do not send infoodsthat contain any kind or formofnut, including Kinder and Nutella products.Thank you for supporting us with this.
